Continuing our tour through the Customer Success organization, we took time to chat with newcomer Tony Nguyen, Customer Success Manager.
What are the top 3 reasons you decided to join DoControl?
Most important thing I’ve accomplished at DoControl?
The most important thing I’ve accomplished thus far at DoControl is understanding the value of securing SaaS data. I think at this point it's really important to help educate the market, and our customers, the importance of securing SaaS. Many times we see organizations trying to remediate immediate cybersecurity threats, such as malware, phishing, and attacks – it’s often overlooked that the possibility of cyber risk stemming from public files that were left unknowingly by individuals within the company – even those who are no longer with the company. The access to SaaS application data and files need to be secure, as some of an organization’s most critical resources reside in them.
What is the work environment like at DoControl?
DoControl provides a flexible remote working environment where we have a diverse and great culture. We have employees both in the US and Israel – and the teams in both locations collaborate seamlessly. We are constantly provided exciting updates about the company and we love celebrating personal and work achievements. Team members are always willing to hop on a quick Zoom call whenever is needed, no questions asked.
Where do you see the product going in the next 3 years?
I see DoControl being an essential part of a matured cybersecurity suite. With rapid adoption of SaaS and everything going digital (including sensitive files) more companies will be tasked to secure their overall internal and external sharing. Another big consideration is the challenges around human error. People make mistakes, and as a result they continually add a risk factor when it comes to sharing data and if not rectified early, can be exploited maliciously. To combat this, DoControl equips organizations with the visibility and automation needed to monitor and remediate these human errors. In conclusion, DoControl will be a market leader for SaaS Data Security.
This stat comes from the industry report we published earlier this year: The Immense Risk of Unmanaged SaaS Data Access. It’s a great read. We recommend you check it out.
DoControl is named as a Representative Vendor in 2022 Gartner® Market Guide for Insider Risk Management Solutions. Gartner recently published the market guide which assists in understanding and implementing a comprehensive insider risk management program. Gartner describes how “the increase in a hybrid or remote workforce, compounded with additional vendor integration, has prioritized insider risk management as a focus area for security and risk management leaders.”
In today’s hybrid work environment, SaaS security has never been more important. Understanding your existing risks is a critical step to choosing the right security tool, but few SaaS apps provide the visibility necessary to perform a proper assessment.
